OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Sorry Lydia. I keep trying to do other things besides be on this computer but usually within 20 minutes or so as long as I'm home I'm back on. So if I don't answer right away it's because I'm trying to do something productive. I've never been on the computer so much in my life. My husband keeps telling me to get a life and our younger son says that it's creepy. WHATEVER!
