Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Hi KK....I read your post re: the "Peanut Butter shot"...what is it? I am a little concerned only because my son is fatally allergic to peanut butter and most nuts... except almond butter...go figure. I asked him if they (Navy) were aware when he enlisted and he "said" yes....Just curious....

Yeah for KK receiving her letter today. See Ladies they are coming.
KK I'm guessing your son is lucky to have a job away from the "compartment" for a couple hours. My son doesn't seem real happy to be doing paperwork. That's really not his forte. Thus the Navy Diver he hoping to be.Oh well luck of the draw. He'll learn. Anyway I'm sure some things remind him of home too. LOL
CKH What a great attitude you have. With two little ones you are too busy to be sad, And Happy 4th Birthday to your daughter. Take lots of pictures. Your man will love them. I'm certain he'll be showing them off.

BTW What's a peanut butter shot??

I am so proud that my husband is with the best! Thank you all for your support.
Don't worry, no more wallowing for me, I have a birthday party to finish planning and some ice cream cone cupcakes to bake for tomorrow. Our little girl will have a great party, I can't wait to send him the pics. We also have a 1 year old little boy. It's quite the zoo at our house!! :)

Lydia You are so right. They will pull each other up. That's what it's all about. Thank you so much for sharing Ben's wonderful letter. You SHOULD be proud of him.
CKH It must be doubly hard for you with your husband away and a little one at home. I know how hard it is to have a son away nevermind being a young mother with a child. If it makes you feel any better I believe he is with the Best of the Best. From what I am hearing all of these brave men are doing. Your letter will come soon. And don't ever worry about bring us down. We are in this together. That's why we are here.
