Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Maybe some more experienced moms of previous div 818's will join and help us out. I'm assuming that certain divisions do certain jobs in the Navy. Maybe I'm wrong. Again, I have no clue.

Hi Kelly, Sorry I haven't responded sooner. Been a little busy here at home but I do check this site every day. I'm really new at this Navy stuff so I couldn't begin to help you about the letter. Hopefully it will arrive soon. Today maybe. :) I'm nervous about writing anything specific about what Rich will be doing in the Navy. The rules say don't say too much and my husband made me take my son's picture off. Are we a little paranoid? I want to say hey my son does that too and wants to do this but I'm a little afraid. Am I crazy? Anyway it is comforting to have all the ladies to share our feelings with. Hope you got your letter today. Any maybe a phone call for all of us soon.

Hi richsmom, I am still waiting for the form letter to arrive with the PIR date confirmation. I was told by the recruiter that our son is in ship 4 div 818 so I just assume his PIR is 9/2. I am hoping that letter will be in tomorrows mail!! I'll let you know.
