@m's His squadron is Vfa-106. I'm sure he's going to love it.  He's already talking about learning how to surf and buying a boat.  It's only a 23 hour drive from Oklahoma, LOL.  No matter which coast he was assigned to, it was still about the same distance.

Welcome Holly-from what Cindy has told us Oceana is great.  Her son checked in there from P'cola last week and mine is due there next week, on the 5th or 6th.  We will share as much as we know.  Not a whole lot of chatter here.  But I check daily.  Will have more info next week once son is there.  What squadron is your son assigned too?

Hi there.  My son has left Pensacola and will be arriving in Oceana on April 8th.  He's an AO and is assigned to shore duty.  Any inside information from someone who's already experienced the move to VA will be greatly appreciated.

We are outside of Pittsburgh so about 8 hrs.  Still better than P'cola.  Kris is about half way between so we think she will be getting alot of visits from both ends!  lol

I will pass that word to M.  I told him about you and your son and promised to get son's full name and squadron from you before he leaves.  He has found that my connections on N4M's can be helpful.  He is excited about doing something different.  I will pm you his full name.

Cindy- M is due at Oceana on the 6th.  Not sure if he has classes. He thought it was more on the job training.  Guess we will know more in 2 weeks.  Hope you had a good visit with Paul.
