Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

RED CROSS CONTACT INFO:

In the event of an emergency within the sailor’s family, where you feel the sailor must be notified and considered for Emergency Leave, you must notify the American Red Cross through the national headquarters in Washington, DC (1-877-272-7337) or via their website www.redcross.org.

Still fostering, currently have 3 siblings ages 5,4 and 10 months. My sailor son will be re enlisting later this month for at least another 3 years. He and his wife bought a beautiful 4 bedroom home. No grand babies from them, just 3 cats and the sweetest beagle puppy. Thinking about and praying for all of you!

B&C started the new semester at MSU today. The countdown has begun for the wedding! 7/19 will be here before we know it ;-D

Mommabear - we went to Peltzer Winery for the ice skating. It's just up the road from Europa Village where we went before. Hubby and I watched and it was lots of fun. After that we went to Old Town Temecula for dinner. It was a fun afternoon/evening. Let's try and set something up in the near future....

Your day sounded perfect. How was the ice skating? Where did you go for that? I'd love to get together! I'll be gone this week but after would be great.
