I sent out a group email to everyone - just asking you all to check in and let us know where your sailor is in his/her Navy journey and how you are doing.

I'll start (although most of you know what's going on with me lol!)  B is out of the Navy - using his GI Bill to finish up his degree at MSU (Michigan State).  His fiancee (also a veteran nuke) is at MSU too.  They are getting married in July '20 and we can't wait!  The wedding will be in CA but they will continue to make their home in MI.  B just turned 30 in June.  I'm really hoping that it won't be too much longer before I can become a grandma!  Our youngest turned 25, got his Master's Degree and moved to Nebraska (all this happened in August) to be an assistant coach at the University of Nebraska - cross country/track & field.  So we are back to truly being emptynesters!  We did get another dog so Marti girl has a little friend - it's done wonders for her.  His name is JD - he loves her!  He loves to give her kisses ;-D

Daysleeper, sending prayers and thoughts to you and your mom as she recuperates, as I know first hand the difficulties of caring for a loved one who is ill.
