Are you kidding me! I have been out of my moms house for well over 20 years and she still has my trunk. LOL Seriously every trip home I get asked if I am taking it back with me. Nope, gives her something to look at and remember me. :)

Actually with just having the Holidays I haven't had to go to the store to do actual shopping. But funny thing was he is the only one who liked cranberry sauce in the can. I bught it without thinking he wouldn't be home. I opened the can and sat it in the bowl on the table anyway. :) Everyone just looked at me and KNEW better than to say something. LOL

Welcome NukeMomShip3 Div086 .  We can all empathize with you.  Have you been grocery shopping yet?  That was so strange to no longer buy chips, cookies, twinkies, Mt. Dew, extra servings of food for all the guy pals who ate at our house.  Just now learning how to cook for only two.

Hey ladies just joined the emptynesters. My baby boy(God I hope he never find me here!) left for BC 12/16/10, haven't heard from him yet. I keep checking the mailbox. My daughter is a junior at Iowa State University and I thought it was tough dropping her off. OMG! People probably thought there was a death in the family, seriously I was so distraught in the air port when our son left. He is my baby but it is the not knowing. I am a Navy brat and I looked forward to the mailman my whole childhood and married into the the Navy world. So nothing new I just thought I was better prepared for this and found out NOPE I'm not.
