Do you have any pix of the pumpkin carving party you could post here? If you have never done it, go to the picture/camera icon, then download, I always use the option to "resize" to a smaller size (maybe 300 something.) and then just add as a comment. Would love to see your family!

trloguem--That sounds like you had an awesome time with him. Yes, every minute counts! It's great that we pass on traditions to our children and then to see them doing it with their own kids is even better! Great family memories :)

Happy Monday to all. I love, love, love the comment "I ended up being the same age whether I had pursued it or not." That was so smart they way you put it. thank you for posting I needed to read that. Oh...and instead of a new lunch box I might be packing a personal fan to keep from bursting into flames. The way I figure it maybe I'll be able to work for my room and board in the nursing home? With 3 boys you know I am going to the a nursing home I just want one where I can watch VH1 so I can see music videos.

Carolyn...So sorry to hear about your husband and I would have totally done what you did to be there for your daughter. Maybe it is time to think about going back? I don't know what I want to be when I grow up do you?

Jason's Proud Mom....what new things would you like to study?

Hey maybe this could all lead to the Emptynesters study group?? Never know right? Travel day for my sailor exciting and boring all rolled in one.
Hope this week is kind to all of your and your sailors. Can't believe how fast time is going. Wow!!!

Yeah-- Pammie is getting her new backpack, lunch box, and school clothes! It took me 18 years to finish my college degree, but, by golly, I ended up being the same age whether I had pursued it or not. And to walk across stage--at last--was so great.

Hello again. I love the pics below. I have been off the site for a bit. Seems lots is happening for sure. Just found out this week where my sailor will be heading next and it is very exciting and surprising for all of us. Then work for me is not looking good at all. I need to find something else. YIKES!!! I am going back to school full time in January. I know I will not even fit in some of the desks. You know the ones that are one piece and you slide in from one side? I think I have had nightmares of getting stuck in the damn desk or falling over. Talk about stress. Another sons marriage is breaking up. The good news on that is maybe we will get him back a little bit now. Oh and in case that is not enough lets just throw in menopause for the fun of it. I think maybe that is about it. Pensacola is my sailors next stop. He leaves GL on Monday. Very exciting for sure. Hope all is well with everyone.
