Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

RED CROSS CONTACT INFO:

In the event of an emergency within the sailor’s family, where you feel the sailor must be notified and considered for Emergency Leave, you must notify the American Red Cross through the national headquarters in Washington, DC (1-877-272-7337) or via their website www.redcross.org.

I'll be 60 in November - Yay for all of us turning 60 lol!

B will be 32 in June - that's why we are heading to MI for a visit - surprise for his bday - and it's also Father's Day weekend. Youngest will be 27 in August. I don't understand how my kids are getting so old lol.

Funny thing was we weren't planning it so when we got there I realized I was wearing my Mickey Mouse shirt lol! Nothing like advertising for the competition lol!

And we visited my mom - we usually see her every 2 weeks as she doesn't live far from us but this was the first time in OVER A YEAR that I actually got to hug her! We both cried! (We are completely vaccinated now which is why we were finally able to hug.) It was awesome and I didn't realize how much we both needed it!
