Hi all - Happy Thursday!

B&C closed escrow yesterday and couldn't be more excited with their new home! Thank goodness for the GI Bill ;-D

Daysleeper - it is a tough time dealing with medical care...keep up the good work you are doing.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Daysleeper - B&C have their trip scheduled for Maui in January.  I hope things are ok then for them to visit.  It's a combined honeymoon, college graduation and C's 30th birthday.  Fingers crossed!

Hi all - Happy Friday!  I've got my RED on!

mariecb - yep, it sucks that I can't ride my recumbent bike.  I've been so good with it - 45 minutes every night and now nothing for 8 weeks - ugh!  Not to mention no running around on the weekends (not that we could do much anyhow with the lockdown our county is in....but still!).  Thank you for thinking of me and if you were close I would let you bring me dinner lol!

The good thing Daysleeper is I know this will end, it's just the timing really sucks - of course is there ever a "good" time to break one's ankle lol!

B'sNM - I can't imagine what you are going through.  I have another friend who broke her foot and I just brought her dinner last night.  I know you are active like me and I worry about not being able to exercise because it is major to mental health plus getting good sleep!  I'm thinking of you...wish I could bring you dinner!!

Hi all - Happy Wednesday.

mariecb - I'm hanging in there...there was an issue with the bloodflow in my foot so my dr sent me straight to the ER (this was 4 days after I fell).  After more test, ultrasounds, IV cat scan they referred me to a vascular surgeon.  But back to ortho yesterday and now things are good so blood flow is back!  Boot for 8 weeks - ugh.  They did find during the ER tests that in addition to the fracture there is also a chipped bone in the other side of the ankle - so both sides are messed up lol!  It's just a huge inconvenience and not to mention I still can't put ANY weight on it - hurts still but dr said it should start feeling better every day.  It's hard to keep it elevated at work so that's what really hurts. And forget sleeping at night! But I'll get over it lol!

I'll sure be glad when 2020 is over!

On a positive note B&C are still scheduled to close escrow on 11/12 for their house - that's exciting news ;-D

B'sNukeMom - I am so sorry to hear about your ankle.  How are you doing?!  Thinking of you and praying for speedy recovery!

Well my relaxing weekend turned into a not so good weekend.  Went to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday (really just wanted to get out of the house for a few hours) and somehow I ended up falling (I'm not the most graceful lol!).  Well I wrenched my ankle pretty good - ended up fracturing it (I really don't have time for this!).  So now today I am finally waiting for my doctor to give me a referral to Ortho so we can do something about it.  I'm not having a good time and I just want someone to look at it and figure out the next step!  It's very frustrating - not to mention it hurts a bit lol!  I'm still at work and luckily I have hubby's scooter to use from when he fell off the ladder 2 years ago.  The scooter has been a lifesaver ;-D
