We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Fort Walton Beach. It was right on the beach! Close to everything! We loved it there. Our son graduated in the winter, so we loved taking advantage of the beach. All the grad's hung out a few beaches away from us!
All the families had dinner every night and it was such a great way to meet everyone!
My son will be graduating from EOD School on July 30 2014--where can I get info on grad events, and does the school or Navy have info on lodging etc in the area? And what is best airport to fly into (price, location). Thanks!
I did go to the lunch. We posted a picture on FB. There were about eight of us.
@brandonsmom I couldnt make the lunch today. Did you go? and I am not sure if there is a group like that but if there is one I will join it too
We had a New Jersey "Navy for Mom's" lunch today. Is there a NJ EOD Mom's group out there?
Hey Moms! My son restarts Dive School Monday. He blew out an eardrum and had to wait two months to start again. Does anyone else have a sailor starting in this class?
Hi Liberty! Yes, your son can wear contacts in Dive Prep.
Good luck :-)
