momof5, we went to our son's dive school graduation earlier this year (for us, it was also a convenient time to give him his truck - he was happy to have his own transportation...).  They did have a small ceremony: the CO and the instructors made some comments, the honor graduate was recognized, and each graduate was called to the stage to receive a certificate.  They don't get any insignia since Dive School is just considered the first phase of their EOD Training.  The big graduation is at the end of EOD School.   Family members are welcome to attend.  There were a few other family members at the ceremony.  Unfortunately, they all had to head to Eglin AFB immediately after the ceremony, so we barely had time to take some pictures with our son.  We did have dinner with him the night before.

Hi EOD Ladies.  My son will be starting his EOD class soon.  He's been in BUD/S and will be leaving SD soon.  I don't know much about the whole process involved with EOD so I welcome any information.  Thanks so much!

If you are talking about graduation from Dive School, no.  Hopefully, we will make it to the graduation at the end of EOD.  Are you going to graduation, momof5?
