For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Do the same rules apply if they are married with child/children?

They have to phase up to receive additional freedoms

ATT is advanced technical training - if they do not pass ATT then they are set back. I believe they get another chance. Location of C school is dependent upon which specialty they have received like Tomahawk. It's my understanding that they will find out whether they are ET or FC just before PIR.

My husband is going for the same job and he graduates next Friday and he was told school was over a year. I guess we wont know anything for sure until they get their orders.

labradoodles my son is going to school in Great Lakes for FC. He first went through ATT school which lasted a couple of months and is now in A School which has been the last month. He is set to graduate A school in April and will receive orders for C school at that time. All in all from the time he arrived for boot camp until he graduates A school he will be at Great Lakes for about a year. As for where they spend their time - on their ship and studying.

Good morning. I got to see Chrissy yesterday and I met her boyfriend. She seems happy. She likes her new ship. She is the senior FC on the ship and she said they all think she is smart, lol. I said "You are smart".
