OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Marsher, it is so good to hear that your sailor is enjoying C school. That is in line with what I have always heard - like they have "earned" the respect of a Sailor once they hit C school.

I'm trying to refrain from being jealous that he is close enough to come home on the weekends!!! Happy for you!!!

Could Andrew and Patricks be roommates now???

Kellie - congratulations to Mickie...I know he must be excited to get rolling into his classes. No wait for ATT was what we had been accustomed to but with all the new sailors there now - it is good to hear he was ready to start immediately.

Wow - growing at such a pace in this room. And we are picking up some great knowledge and experience along the way! Welcome to our newest members...Cindy, Nannie and Mr. & Mrs. Fig!

Blood pressure down after phone conversation with Mary. Thank you Mary, what would we do without the support we've found here? At least I've found some answers in case he wants to consider it. I took action, now I'll leave it for God to take care of. (as if I ever had anything to say about it - if you want to see God laugh, just tell him your plans...) ha ha
