Yes, Karla thats what happened exactly. He lets them use his games and stuff and I told him to "ground them" until they cleaned up their rooms. LOL! Mary, ditto on the roommates. But I'm sure its not anyone here..... of course. kybessom is a sister. Hi there! Hoppi, Hello.

Dinner at CCR's house! Sounds like a great dinner CCR. I think the high today in Chicago was 62 degrees so can you imagine how cold it is in the early mornings. We keep ask Nick if he wants his hoodies but he says no - I think he beileves he will get out of there before it gets too bad and he just doesn't want to have a bnuch of stuff to pack. He did ask for a pair of his pj bottoms as his room is cold.

Nick's roommates are ETs and GMs.

woo - woo. Pig roasts! J just made dinner last night for our Navy friends on his Brazilian BBQ machine. It has like 3 rows of 10 places where you put swords in and each individual sword (that has meat on it) rolls around and around like a rotisserie. Pork, yum!!! The other white meat. LOL.

P said he lost his wearing of his civilian clothes on week-ends privilege when all his roommates would not help him clean their room before inspection. I asked him if they were FC's, and he said, - no, I'm the only FC. I'm surprised because of how trashed and dirty he left his room. Course I know THATS different. Said he wants his hoodies, its getting chilly there. Wow, he called twice in 3 days. Wonder whats got into him?

okay...update on the rat team. No, it's not snowing in GL! Anything that needs cleaning during their duty - they clean. Nick is now the watch coordinator for his ship and he said he will also use them for standby

Thanks CCR, I suspect you are right - graduation is after ATT is complete unfortunately with it being self-paced doubt that we will get any notice.

Seabee dlt - it is wonderful that you are getting to see your son while he is in school. Refresh my mind, is he an et or fc? If you are close enough to attend the graduation, you may want to. Generally it is only a handful of family members but now they are giving out a certificate of appreciate for supporting your sailor and last less than 30 minutes. It is harder when they are FCs as they are attending part of ATT, then moving to A school and then back to finish ATT and sadly - there is not an A school graduation - it comes after ATT is complete.

There is not a posting for graduation and generally they will get two weeks leave after A school.

Just texted our son and asked him what rat team was and he said in the winter time they shovel snow...certainly hope it's not snowing in GL already!!! LOL

Mary, I don't think (think being the optimal word) its considered finishing A school until they finish their mods. would not know what his plans are - lucky to get a 2 minute phone call saying he finished A school. He has been through a lot, and sounded extremely stressed out last time we talked, and I know he didn't mean to take it out on me but - glad mom's not the bad guy anymore _ i am so laughing. He thought I was bad.....

CCR - with Patrick finish A school today - is that considered graduation or is it after he completes ATT? I would love to slip up and see Nick graduate from whatever it is...he graduates from! I just suspect it will be a phone call a day or two before hand saying...hey, I'm graduating tomorrow! I know A school grads are not quite the big deal but as long as this program is for our sons and daughters - I think a celebration is in order!

Congratulations to Patrick!!! We may have to have a celebration without them!!!
