I've got to come to Florida. My brothers in Spring Hill. You've seen his pics Jackie on my page, the old B & W Navy skinny guy from the 60's. His wife is an Episcopalian minister, she's a hoot. You would love her, everyone does. HEr accent is Rhode Island. A water fountain is called a "bubbler".

Busy, busy site here!

LynnDear, been thinking of you all morning, praying for LA that all will be okay. So happy to hear about Wade's cast and I'm sure he is working hard to stay on top of it all. I'm not making any plans for Thanksgiving as Nick is due to graduate Nov. 17th - so he could even be HOME for thanksgiving!!!

Jackie - I just knew you had all that talent!
Marsher - thanks for the heads up on the news article, I'm going to check it out. Nick is on the Cole but I think they are similiar, if nothing else another chance to impress or surprise him with my new found knowledge!!! lol
CCR - good to see you back in Conroe, congrats to Jorge - hoping all of our Texas friends will be safe this weekend too.

Yeah, WADE!!! Jorge did get the job in Beaumont, so he's already being called to come assist the hospital with the hurricane (red cross, Texas Chef's Associationk etc.) this week-end and Monday. And no, I am not moving! I suppose he'll get an apt.
Jackie, you lucky dog! Patrick comes home in 1-2 months and I have to prepare myself for him going out with friends..... Just sent cookies Monday morning, called him today at a rest stop coming home and asked Have you been to the post office? what are you doing?
Answer: (garbled) I'm UMMM eating cookies!!! I told him to give some to his proctor , LOL!
Made peanut butter, chocolate chip, tea cakes, and his very favorite, snickerdoodles!!

Sorry Annette, if they are assigned one in A school I am not aware of it. You could try calling the public relations office at Great Lakes and asking if we have one. If you need the number, let me know and I will dig around for it.

Jackie - good to see you, thought maybe you had been out playing with the gators!

Everything that I have heard about overnighting seems to be a waste of $$$. I will send stuff to Nick in priority mail and it is in his hands in two days. Save the money Susan!

Kathy's daughter Sarah Jane will have her PIR on Friday, she will be reporting for school as an FC.

Lori, good to see you again. Smack that sailor - no calls to his mom - the nerve of him!!! LOL

Is he still in the ATT program or into A school now?
Comment by Mary, Proud Mom of Nick on August 26, 2008 at 5:33pm
Welcome USNwife! Glad that he has "crossed the street"!

You can expect to hear from him much more often if he has a cell phone. And he is just at the start of alot of school but it's a great program. Will he be an ET or FC? You will find lots of help here so don't hesitate to ask.
