I thought they were air conditioned rooms, I know last week one of the buildings had air conditioning issues but that got fixed.

Millye, our son is on the quiet side (takes after his dad - not mom!) and he really hasn't told us much about any issues on his ship but he could be sitting in the middle of WWIII and might not mention it. I don't know any females on the ships that can help you.

They do keep some long days once ATT actually starts and often are in classes day and evening so I don't think they are hanging out in the ships too much. I also believe these ships are really close to their school and galley vs where the ship is during SCC but CCR might be able to clarify that as she has been back to GL and has seen the different ships that her son has lived on.

Yeah Millye, take me with you, I'll just drive on over to Palestine.

Okay moms, finally my son called! Instead of going to class tonight, he went to...Captain's Mast! See my posting on the main page as your sons/daughters may have this same chance.

Otherwise it sounds like he maybe wrapping up ATT next week - not sure how soon A school will start after that.

Also one of the water parks in the area is giving free admission to military with ids this weekend so he is going to enjoy a day at the park and it sounds like he really could use a day off!

I thought patrick was in Porter Hall? My son is in the Cole. Remember...Cole Porter

I did ask Patrick if he knew anyone with that last name, and he said he didn't know anyone. If might help if I knew the names of the ships instead of the bldgs#'s. I've got his number and room, but no name for a ship.

They are tough guys now and let's be thankful...they don't whine and they don't like to worry their mommas! Of course, with that being said...why hasn't my son called me in 4 days?!!! He had me spoiled there for a while with nightly calls...is he hanging out with Patrick?!!!
