Is THU -Temporary Holding UNIT? She should get a Medal in patience lol!

Does this unit give her down time to adjust and get rested up for A-School.

Congrats Acesmom !

My son should be seeing the Pneumnoia Therapist today and hopefully we will have news this week end.

Sandy , that is good news that in A School they run outside, cuz my son said same thing the air quality in this Gym is yuck.

navynrocks- my sister is still in THU waiting for orders...

she escorts the duty driver for the meantime...They drive recruits.

She really wants to get out of that place or atleast move across the street!

Congrats acesmom!  That is good news!!!  I just can't stay away from this group.  Each time I hear that someone got the "I am a Sailor" call", I get tears of joy for them - remembering how precious those words are - and inspiring to the one still working towards that goal!  The prayers do work!

That's good.  My girl said her ankles are swollen again.

sandy, I agree about the PFA being easier. My son said that they look at your test score as a whole. (running, situps, pushups, pullups.)

Proudsistah,   Has she left for her A school and does she have to run the 5 miles 3x week or at least i see where nuke school does.  Now that is irony and on the 13th no less.  It was just meant to be and she got thru it which surely makes her stronger.Keep us posted on her!

Navynrocks- that's what happened to my sister.. She's been complaining to us during bootcamp that her legs were hurting that she thought she had stress fracture but did not want to report because she was afraid to be set back... The last letter we received from her before her final PFA, she was very scared to run because her legs were hurting so bad! And that day came, she ran miscounted her laps instead of doing 12 laps she did 13... But her legs gave up and broke her tibia... But here we are!!! She made it!!!
Do you know what's wierd? Just a trivia ;)
She broke her leg on the 13th lap
And while in FIT she passed her run on the 13th and last try

I got the call today, he is a Sailor. (3 days after his PIR) I didn't expect it today because I didn't think they did Battle stations on Sunday. Praying that all of you get that call soon. it's amazing how that other stuff doesn't even matter anymore.
