Yes your right, in many cases they will not seek medical b/c of being razzled

so then many just fall to the ground then sent to medical.

they are in such close proximity to each other from there sleep, eat quarters and having to use Public pay phones is where i am really convinced they pick up germs that are left lurking on the phone receiver, yuck!  Wish cell phones were possible and so do they, lol

Darlene she will get the rest her body needs, i think since my boy got sick so early in bc it is taking bit longer to completely heel those lungs but he for sure sounds way better then he did. I was almost ready to hop on a plane.

Were  in this together" ALL for ONE" & ONE for ALL!

Wow, lots of news here.

NavynRocks--If he is feeling well enough to be bored, that is good news indeed.  I imagine when they are very sick, they are just so relieved to be somewhere they can sleep, that sleep is what they do.  I'm sure he will be running soon.

Darlene, It is never good news to hear your child has pneumonia, but since she is in the RCU she will get the same respiratory therapy that has mad NavynRock's son recover so well.

Rover, it sounds like our boy is feeling better, my girl was finally through that respiratory infection when she was able to make the run in time, so I bet he is close.

Prayers for all these kids.

DarleneH, you would be surprised at how many SR get sick. When my son was in boot camp all of his shipmates became ill. The first time they just had a cold virus. The second time they all came down with a serious chest infection. They all had to get shots. My son said that many were fainting they were so sick. He said that what ever they had just knocked them out.

i think he said he isto see the therapist this week and then she was talking about phase 4 of the program so maybe another couple weeks . It is worth having him in there if they are getting his lungs to heal so he can run that track with God's speed

He said the Therapist is retired 32 years and i assume Navy but says she has been so nice to help.

Wow we got a record call tonight!   Since he has been in RCU and receiving Pneumonia Therapy he sounded so much better. I was bummed out since he didnt call yesterday but sure did put a smile on our faces and he sounded in good spirits

Guess there days in RCU can be long and sometimes boring and they dont get news from the outside world unless it comes from a letter.

He said another recruits family just told them about the Navy Seals Helicopter going down yesterday and getting killed and he asked me if that were true.

Part of me wanted to say no but i told him yes it is and has been on the news and pray for them and there families. They are sad about this.

Says there are about 90 recruits in the division. This call took all his minutes so i know what i will be doing in the am.

Just glad to here his voice and positive spirits that Im going to do it mom.
