Hello!  My daughter & I just got back from GL - When my son called "I am a Sailor" on Wed. I told him to call me if he got any liberty or when he knew that he was going to the airport so I could try to see  him before he went to Pensacola.  At 7:30 am on Thurs. he called to say that he had liberty @ 4:00 pm - could I come?  We raced to Chicago and saw him for 4 hours on Thursday night and then met him @ the airport at noon on Friday - he had a 6 pm flight, so we spent the whole time with him.  It was beyond wonderful.  So, ladies, keep your cell phone near and a bag packed.  If you're anywhere near Great Lakes - it is well worth the drive!!!  I love my Sailor!

Thanks everyone.  Let's keep praying for all those needing to heal and run like the wind!  My son said that the letters kept him going -- keep on writing.  Best to all!
