I had got the # and I too had called them to get the address so that i can write to her, I wrote her a letter yesterday, and this morning I recieved a letter from her and she is not doing well, all I can tell her is that we love her and we miss her and keep incourageing her that she will pass today will be one week for her there, I too miss my girl and I am still proud of her no matter what. Hang in there..they will make it.
Parrothdgal,
Thank you
Water and Angel ~
There is a purpose for everything they do. I sobbed daily when my SR was going through this! When I hear of another it is just heartbreaking. Here is the hard cold truth…all of our kids are told prior to BC that they need to run run run…get in shape! Mine did not and she surly paid the price for it! I will never say that to her but she know. She passed the run on her very last chance to be able to go to BS and march in PIR! They make them want to get out of FIT. They are made to hate life while in there. It’s to make her stronger. God knows she will be. When my daughter called me in tears I told her she would never forgive herself if a 1.5 mile run kept her from obtaining her goals! I was heartbroken for her but I knew she could do this and needed to!
All SR not passing the final PFA get a short call then off to fit if they pass the run while there is still time to make it to BS they will go in w/ another DIV the return to theirs. You will not get a call unless its one to say I’m a sailor! You can’t really count on that either because if you do not pass BS with your DIV you would be getting a favor to call home on that DIV’s time for calling home! Hang in there ladies they will pass!
waterponie,
I am in the same seat you are in and I have not heard from my daughter.
I too am worried.
