OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).  Still limited to 2 guests maximum.

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 7/16/2021**

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

She was dropped the Tuesday before her graduation. She will be reporting into A school in Great Lakes to be an ET. I'm just trying to figure out what's going on because I'm getting out of the Marine Corps here pretty soon and trying to figure what I'll do in the short term unt she checks into a school and I can go live with her.

I have a quick question, and Im sure its been asked, and answered, but Im having a hard time finding the answer. My wife was supposed to graduate yesterday but is being held due to PFA failure. She told me she is rerunning the PFA Monday. Now what Im getting conflicted stories on, is that if she passes Monday, and does battlestations this week, will she or will she not be in a graduation ceremony?

I know he ran on a Friday - but that was the week he was supposed to graduate so I'm not sure if it was just that week because of the circumstances... But I know for sure he has been running on Mon and Wed since then but just assumed he was on Fri as well.

I was under the impression that they run Mon, Wed, and Fri. At least that's what I gathered from talking to Ethan. I feel the exact same way, like we are in limbo just waiting and wondering. He did seem to be in better spirits in the last letter that I got from him though. I still write everyday, and even though I didn't think it would make much of a difference for me but it really does. My reassuring him at the end of every letter helps reassure myself in someway.
