Ok,  I have a question. If they fail PFA and are moved back to another unit, and still don't pass what next> Is that when they send them to ASMO for fir training?

Donna, if your recruit has been moved to another division with a later PIR date, then he is expected to be able to pass and have PIR on the new date. See Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and Fitness Improvement Training ....

If your recruit is pushed back and given another graduation date, does hat mean we can see them graduate or they are just sent directly to A school?

Prayers to all sailors recruits and their moms. Give them strength and let them believe in themselves. They can make this happen. To all moms, we all have been there, keep the faith as we continue to pray for them all.

Praying for the recruits who need to pass so that they can move on. Father, give them strength and bring peace and calmness to them. Please allow them to realize their dreams. In Jesus's name. Amen.

Hello RJNavyMom, Awww that is awesome. Thank you so much for the information, advise and word of encouragement! It's heartbreaking to have to go through this with him but your right we can only encourge him to never give up, listen and do what to his instructors tell him to do but most importantly to rely on God for Everything. I can't wait to hug him. Good Luck and God Bless you and your Sailor. Prayers for our SRs and Families.

Hello Downtoearth 123456 My Son was placed in the FIT Division for his swim about eight days before his scheduled graduation date. Although he was devastated we all encouraged him not to give up. He had to take swim lessons twice a day. They are allowed to test after they show that they have corrected and improved in the areas that they are having trouble in. Encourage your SR to take what they are telling to do and just do it. They are there to help them pass. My Son didn’t have to do any other training while in FIT because he had passed everything but the swim. On the day of his PIR he finally passed!!!! He missed his graduation date but it was ok because today he is still a Sailor who is now in “A” School. I pray that your SR will keep swimming!!! Blessings to you both.
