MomOf4 I am very sorry to hear about your son. You are in a great support group of moms who have gone thru the same thing. I am one of the newest members, and I know what you're going thru. My son called me 2 weeks before PIR on 09/15 to tell me he did not pass his final PFA. He was devastated and wanted to get out, mainly because he felt lonely and it was painful to see his old division moving on and graduating while he stayed an additional 3 weeks. Maybe he needed more time, maybe it really was an issue with his ankle bracelet and the sensor, but all the moms here prayed for him and he just called me on 09/29 telling me he passed his PFA and became a Sailor! It just took a little longer. I know it's hard, but encourage your son. I wrote letters of encouragement to mine daily, telling him not to quit because he would regret it if he didn't keep trying. Moms on here told me that the Navy would help my son. I am a firm believer now, they will help your son! And we will pray for you and him. I joined sandboxx so I could write to him daily. In one of his letters he asked me to write since that was the only thing giving him motivation and courage. Ask your family to write and to pray for him.

My son called today and we listened to a recorded message saying he didn’t pass the PFA run. Then my son got on the line and told us he didn’t pass the run, not to come to PIR Friday 10/6, he was being moved to anew division, and he would try to call another time to tell us more. Does anyone know what happens next. We are scarambling to change flight areangments, hotel and shuttles, and I’m worried about his morale right now!!

Hello to All Happy Sunday! Congrats Navmom to you and your new Sailor, I'm  glad things worked out for him. Sending up prayers for all the young men and women that are still in FIT for one reason or another. I pray that God will give them all the strength and guidance to pass!

Thank you so much for your prayers. I just got the I'm a Sailor call. He passed his run on Monday 11:52 on the 1.5 mile. They had battle stations last night. He is exhausted, and emotional. It has been a rollercoaster for all, but we are so thankful for your support and prayers.

Today has been a difficult day. I had been sad and worried and praying all day. I just know got online and found your messages and granmaFaye's email. You have no idea how you have lifted my spirits, knowing that my son is covered in prayers and good wishes from the moms in this group. This group has been an amazing support system. Thank you so much, I have so much faith that God will give my son the strength and ability to pass. But I also thank you so much for being there for us. My son is not alone, and neither are your kids. If you ever need anything, I will be glad to help in any way I can..

Thank you RJNavyMom, there is a lot of power in a prayer. My sons final PFA is Monday the 25th. I am a nervous wreck, but I am certain with God's help he will pass.
Stephanie, from what I've read it may be two weeks. I really hope she comes home soon. She needs her family now more than ever.
