Hello Stephanie and Navmom, just thinking of you all today. Still sending up prayers for your Daughter Stephanie, I pray she is able to come home to her family soon. Praying for your Son Navmom to pass his run. God Bless you both. Keep the Faith!

Thank you for the information. I will have her follow-up with a Dr. when she come's back. How long does it usually take for them to get sent home after they have been separated?

Stephanie,
that episode of the View was one where they built a house for this young man. Stef Currie was his favorite athlete so they had him at the house to meet the young man. You can probably see the episode on line.

Stephanie,
I am so sorry to hear the news about your daughter. Please have her examined well. I was watching the View one day and there was a young man who had failed his PFA for the Navy. He said he could do the sit-ups, push-ups, etc. but the running he could not get. He was separated because he could never pass. Later he was diagnosed with some debilitating illness that affected his muscles. He had later been confined to a wheelchair. Point is...he had passed all of the Navy exams and they did not catch the problem. I am not saying that this is her problem but it could be something.

So I pray that God will send her on the path that He has for her. Praying for healing, in Jesus' Name.

Stephanie that breaks my heart about your daughter. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that God has a better plan for all of us. What makes this very hard is the pain our kids go thru. I've realized thru this experience that I can care less what problems we may have as parents, we can deal with them, I just don't like to see my kids suffer. I will pray for your daughter, that she comes home soon and she finds comfort with her family. She is very brave, and it's admirable that she stepped up along with all these young adults.

Thanks Navmom for all your prayers and words of encouragement. I will also continue to pray for your Son and all the other SR's that are still trying to pass.  one thing that I told my Son, was to step outside of his comfort zone when taking his run.  I told him your legs may get tired, your chest may hurt, and you may feel like you can't breath but KEEP RUNNING! please pass that along to your Son as well and I Pray that it will help him.

RJNavyMom I am so very happy for you and your SR. I believe all those SRs who have been asmod deserve so much for not giving up when things got difficult, yet they didn't give up. My son was also supposed to PIR 9/15, but was asmo'd. We got a letter from him on Thursday and he is trying really hard to pass his run. He got a new PIR, and I am praying that he and Stephanie's daughter and all future sailors struggling now will pass and move on to BS. I have faith and I believe in all of them.
GranmaFay and everyone, thanks for your prayers.

There is so much Power in Prayer!!!! I got a call from my Son today and he has PASSED his swim! He missed his PIR on 9/15/17 but that's ok. Thank You to everyone that has included him in prayer. I will continue to pray for all these young men and Women daily. Now on to BATTLE STATIONS! Hooyah!
