Still agreeing with you all in prayer or our recruits to pass. No news is good news. Hold on to that.

RJNavMom - praying for your son to cross the path of the right person to help him stay motivated.

Stephanie - praying for your daughter as well. Tell her to eat bananas, yogurt, Powerade, water. Load up on potassium.

I tried to contact the PAO to see if my Son's status had changed after he said he may have time to pass before PIR but I was informed due to HIPPA laws they couldn't tell me anything and advised me that I would have to wait until he was able to call me. I'm so concerned for him. I just hope they will be able to help him stay motivated so he can pass his swim and become a Sailor! I will say many prayers for all of the young men and women that's in Fit.

Thank you I will pray for your son as well. She has to retake the mile. I put the 6th as the last time I talked to her I was thinking about something else. It was the 28th so I would think that I should've heard something by now.

Praying that all is well with your Daughter Stephanie. What part did she have to retake? I pray you here from her soon.

Hello I still have not heard from my daughter since the 6th of this month. I've sent emails and called legal still no response. Her PIR was on 9/1 she said she has 3 wks to pass.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this group my Son was supposed to have PIR on 9/15/17 but he did not pass his swim test. I have been a terrible wreck every since we got the last phone call from him on Wednesday. Asking for support and prayers that God will allow him to pass and become a U.S. Sailor.

Hi everyone,
I have a question I was hoping could be answered by someone who has been thru this before. My son had mentioned that his feet have been destroyed and had blisters. I told him to wear double socks or band-aids and he said they were not allowed. I also know that asking to go to medical is bad, you should only if you are terribly sick. What can SRs do if that's what's affecting to finish their run?

Stephanie,

I found that no news is good news. I think they would let her call to tell you not to come. check the form letter to see if there is an address you can write to for information. Try to contact lemonelephant, who is very helpful finding information for you.

Hi my daughter called me last Monday and said if she didn't call by Wed then don't come to her graduation (9/1). I haven't heard anything since. I don't know what address to write to. I know she only has a week left to pass her mile. What's the likely chance that she will be separated if she doesn't pass?
