unless he's going to bs today or tomorrow (which I highly doubt since he would have called by now), he won't be at pir and will stay in fit until he passes. then with no pir, he'll go to a school. sorry!!! ps.... he gets 10 tries to pass and I've never heard of someone going home because they couldn't do sit-ups!

She has been there almost a week now. Yes, I think this is tougher on the parents than on the kids going through. You wait and wait and wait... very nerve racking to say the least. My daughter has a knee problem which kept her from passing because she never was able to let it heal long enough. Personally she has said she is going back and then says well maybe not... so I don't know. I will support whatever choice she makes in the next 6 months. Good luck and I am here if you have any other questions.

Thank you so much , about how long has your daughter been in SEPS so far ? He said that he's came to the conclusion he'll just come home & try over IF he can , he doesn't like it & has been feeling really ill . It's frustrating & makes you impatient.

You are correct, they are given TEN attempts to pass and this is done on M-W-F's.  Keep in mind that occasionally the RUN is stopped for safety reasons, like somebody falls or pukes on the track and then that day will not count as an attempt.  My daughter is in SEPS now and waiting for her sep orders to come in.  When they get to SEPS they have an INDOC and it takes 10-20 Days from then for the release.  They get all kinds of computer time and we have been able to chat via FB nearly daily since she has been there.  They also get 2 one hour calls per week if they choose that route.  One call on a weekday and one on a weekend is what I have been told.  They will have a 2 DAY Notice as to when they are being separated from the Navy giving everyone plenty of time to make arraignments for alternate transportation back home.  The Navy will only send them home via bus or train unless they want to pay for their own airline ticket home.  We live fairly close (5-6 hours drive) so we are going to pick her up at the Train Station when she is released.  I sincerely hope that none of what I have explained happens with your situation and your son/daughter is able to pass.
