Anyone have a recruit now in fit & knows how many tries they have left ? Got a call Sunday saying 6 tries & haven't received a call and if I'm correct I think today made 3 more tries until put in SEPS ? Also , anyone had a recruit get sent to SEPS then sent home ? If so , about how long did the seperation actually take & will they be able to call before they leave ?

Her recruiter is already talking to her on FB as she gets those privileges in SEPS.  lol  We know that she can pass it but your right after she heals up then she will need to retrain to not ever be in this situation again.

I've had one other mom go through this and he recruiter found no concrete time frame! it will be a little harder to find a recruiter that will take the time, given they tried and didn't make it. they will probably want to see they can pass it all before they start the process.

I am curious though as to when is the correct amount of time to pass to put in for the WAIVER approval?  Does anyone here know?

Ahh... thank you for clearing that up as I myself was a little confused but thought to mention it here.  :)

push division is one week shorter. when recruits come in there are one or two divisions that arrived the week before and are not yet full. they top off with new recruits and continue their in process.... one week in already.

FYI....I forgot to add something here as well.  I was told by my daughter that they were told if they return to RTC then they are placed into something called a "PUSH Division" which is a shorter time span for them to complete Basic Training.  I believe she said it was a 5-6 week program, saving them a couple of weeks that they had previously already been through.  Hope this helps and that you and your SR are not faced with this result.

Sammy is correct as my daughter is in SEPS right now awaiting orders to be separated and sent back home as she did not pass the run portion of the PFA due to tendinitis in one of her knees.  She has now been at RTC since June 23rd (12weeks) and it takes from 10-20 days once they go to SHIP 5 to be separated.  Also, they do not fly them home.  They are sent home via train or bus, but in our case we are going to drive up there to pick her up at the Train Station.  There is one thing that sammy said which needs added to though.  The reenlistment code on their DD-214 is what determines them to return to RTC.  And yes, usually it just fine but they need a WAIVER approved first.  Please encourage your SR to do everything he/she can do to pass before the 10th attempt.  Wishing you many blessings that you get the call that your SR is on the way to Battlestations.
