I got a call from Alex about 10 minutes ago. He is really down on himself. His run time was 15:30. He has also been scheduled to see the doctor tomorrow for leg pain.

I hope he is still doing well. I didn't mail anything last week due to him possibly graduating. I hope he isn't upset. I sent out a card today from the post office in Gurnee, so he should get it either Monday or Tuesday. I am also sending one out before we leave the airport tomorrow. Then it will be 1 card every day until I get a call.

they do a lot of sitting around, though my son said different rdc's would give them mentoring talks about the navy. they also run on a treadmill every day they don't test.

If they only test on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. What do they do on the weekends?

Alex's_Mom:  So very very sorry that you were at PIR, but he wasn't there.  I'm glad you at least got to see PIR due to the error on the gate attendant's part, but can't imagine how hard it was to go through the entire thing and not see your son, only to find out he wasn't there.

Just know that he is working hard to get this done.  They get between 10-12 chances, every 48 hrs, during the week, to pass their PFAs.  Once they do, they do BattleStations, may have a short Liberty, and head to A School, no PIR once they miss their own.  Prayers that you will be getting a wonderful call from Alex in the very near future!

Is anyone on here, I haven't seen any activity in a while.

I haven't heard anything from Alex since Friday, nothing. I hate being left in the dark.

sammy1990: 1st PFA - 19 minutes / 2nd PFA - 16 minutes (this was week 3)  / 3rd PFA - ?? (they wouldn't let him talk about it)

Comment by sammy1990 on July 21, 2015 at 6:42am
did he say how many minutes/seconds he was short?
Comment by Alex's_Mom (Robin) on July 21, 2015 at 6:23am
I just hope that he passed yesterday and didn't get time to call and I will get a call today.
