Alex's mom. he will call you the same day he passes the run part of fit. now, maybe, he passed and didn't have time and went right to bs. if that happened he'll call tomorrow after bs. it's possible. otherwise he'll call after he passes the run and then do bs with another division.

My son failed his PFA's on Friday (running portion). I was told he would be retaking his tests again today. Since his division is supposed to do BS tonight, will I get a call today if he passed or tomorrow after BS?

Got a phone call from her on Saturday. She sounded so much better. She only has 4 seconds to cut. So it looks like she will make it. She has 5 more tries, don't know if she passed this morning but waiting to get a call if she did. Thanks for all your help and advice. I will let you know when she passes.

it's been a while since someone has reported back about swim testing. when you finally find out with your future sailor, please come back and tell us. BUT what I remember hearing is they test twice a day, 5 days a week. good luck!

Sammy1990 thank you so much for this info. I'm glad to hear she will get to call me and tell me she passed it she said on the phone yesterday she gets two chances to take the test is that true?

hi MD girl. for swimming they will test m-f. it generally doesn't take too long. my gut says she's got a good chance to be at her pir. once she passes she will call you and then go to battle stations.

Hello can someone please tell me the steps when a SR fails the floating part of the swim test and their PIR is Friday the 24th my daughter is in this situation and I'm on pins and needles. Trying to see what's the best thing to do about my travel plans she said they was moving her to fit last night
Comment by sammy1990 on July 17, 2015 at 3:11pm
that is correct.
Comment by Katheryn on July 17, 2015 at 2:55pm

Just checking in, she called on Saturday and is very depressed. She doesn't feel that the staff cares if they pass. Curious why they practice on a treadmill then run on the track for the test. It would be easier for them to practice on the track they are going to be tested on! She has 6 more attempts so she has until the 24th to pass. If not I guess she is done. Lilly did say she might be able to try again and go thru boot camp in 6 months. Any idea if that is correct?
