Katheryn, The RDCs in FIT are very encouraging, they will help the recruits to pass. They usually allow phone calls home for more encouragement from the family. Best of luck for your daughter.

Thanks sammy1980, I'm happy to hear about your son. My son said the same. We will be visiting him in Pensacola, can't wait.

fabulous news, gigi. my son spent 3 weeks in fit and just passed 4 years since leaving boot. it's a beginning..... not the end. he says he'd never have done it any other way.

My SR passed his run in Fit and had battle stations. He called to say he was a sailor. He is so happy. He leaves for A school in Pensacola early next week. Keep the faith, this was a hard time for him and us. Praying for everyone in FIT to pass and move on. Upward & onward.

btw, that call was a scripted call. when is her pir? if she passes she'll call and let you know if she'll be able to attend bs before graduation. If she can, she will still graduate on time.

do you know what she failed? they test 3 times a week for run and daily for swim. you can write her at the same address, but add "NOW IN FIT" and she will get the mail. she will write you with the new address, and call after she passes her pfa.

I missed the call from my daughter, message said not graduating on time and that was all. So I assume she was placed in FIT. So do we just wait for a call? Can they call? Should I send letters to the FIT address?
