wndermom if he is assigned to a new division that just wasn't as far along as his he may have a PIR only at a later date with his new division. If he was just put to medical then no pir. as once he is out of medical he goes to fit and works on the pfa until all his chances are up.
Keep the faith that they will pass. If they last tested Monday they should get to test again today. As they normally test mon wed and fri. Like Dianerep said if they test today and pass they could still graduate on Friday. Which is what my son did. He was not able to march with the group but did grad on time.
They do work with them daily on what they have not passed. Even though they test 3 times a week that does not mean in 4 weeks they are done. As if someone calls a timeout during a test it doen't get counted against everyone running since they are unable to finish. Just keep writing letters of encouragement to the address you have and write now in FIT on it and it will get to them. They normally will get to call once they pass the run. And when they have completed battlestations. And there is no set time they will do that as it depends if a different division is using the phones.
Thank you Diannep and yes he is division 100. I know he took the pfa on Monday so he may get to take it today. I have heard if he passes and goes to BS before PIR Friday then he will get to be in the ceremony. Do you have any ideas and if not would we at least still get to see him if he passes? Would they let him call to say he passed PFA? Sorry for so many questions, but I am just lost at this point
JC19: I will jump in here....there should be some other N4Moms veterans picking up the questions here soon who have been through this experience.
I shared this with wndermom on the PIR page. What I know from being on the N4Moms site for 5 yrs now is this. Normally when you get that call, they have at least one more chance to pass, sometimes more depending on when they had BattleStations re: PIR date. But in this case, today would be the last chance to pass. However, if they took the test yesterday (I'm assuming that yours and wndermom's SRs are in Div 097-100)...not sure they can take it again today since there is suppose to be 48 hrs in between tests. Assuming that they really have no chance to make PIR, then they will stay in the FIT group and keep trying 3 times a week. Once they pass, they will do BattleStations and head to A School (no PIR) after a brief Liberty. I believe they have about 12 chances to pass.....if they do not pass during this time, they will be discharged.
Prayers for both of your SRs that they get this done! It happens often and the majority of the SRs do pass, so keep the faith!
I got my do not come to graduation call last night as well. I am so lost as you do not get any information in that call. Just brief and to the point. Does any of you know what happens next? How many chances do they get?
