Hi everyone,  my son has not passed his run yet. We need all the prayers and positive thinking right now. I'm feeling discouraged and I know that it's worse for him.

Hi Ireennn, i remember when my son didn't pass the prone float as well. He missed his PIR too. I read that you flew out to Chicago anyway. The thing is you will not have any contact with him until he passes his test. I was not able to write him, i had to wait until he called letting me know if he passed. He passed the day after his PIR. Once he passed, he flew out to A school. However, i got to see him before he left for about 8 10 hours. Once they miss they're PIR, they don't get to graduate, unless under certain conditions. But to ease your mind, we he pass his swim test and move forward. He will be ok. He will pass, they want him too. My son is doing well in California as a Navy Seabee. I hope this helps you out some. I will be praying for you and your Sailor to be.

Yes you I believe you can write to the same group. They should forward mail to him. Until he gives you the new location.

Not a problem I understand. It was very hard for me. My heart goes out to you both. Keep encouraging him when he does call you can still write to him as well. He will pass! Hang in there I know it's tough! God bless you.
