Paula, Glad that you got to talk with him.  Always helps to hear their voice!  Will keep him in my prayers too!  My daughter only has 3 more attempts left at her run.  Getting a bit scared for her.  She wants this so bad.  Hoping tomorrow is THE day!  Keep strong!

I got a phone from my sailor on Saturday at 630am. He sounded good and he said he sent me a letter on his address and that he was working on his swim test. He said he would call when he passed. I still praying for him. Paula

welcome, ladies. this group is not for the weak, lol. my sailor passed through fit 3 years ago this month and I still remember the worry /anxiety like it was yesterday! the good news is it's short lived and now they can call home once they pass! (I had to wait until after bs). so, keep those phones close, send mail daily and enlist ppl to pray (my sailor swears that is what did it). this too, shall pass.

Paula, They are hardest on themselves.  I've also heard they're mean to each other too.  At least the girls are.  Very negative, it starts to suck them in and feel hopeless.  I hope you hear from him soon.  You can also join that FB page if you scroll down a bit in this discussion, you'll see what to put in the search for it.  They'll send him letters of encouragement too.  Need all the help we can on keeping our SR's morale up!
