Remember last year when I got everyone to send my son birthday cards? he has ones he still hasn't opened...said there were too many, he just dumped them in his gear in Iraq and brought them back.

Joni, what's his favorite stuff? motorcycles? country music? dogs? what? I'll get Tommy to put one of his sketches on a card...and send it to him. Let me know.

I've made the gym twice in the last 3 days, I don't do those early AM classes, I love my 10:30 group and the women in it! Last night I kept feeling "full" and realized that it was those stomach crunches in the water yesterday! They have reduced the number of classes...sucks.

What got me was the President did his town hall, addressed several of the fallacies, if not out and out fabrications promoted by rush and gang...and then today Grassley..? Republican lead on the Finance committee, was in front of his town hall, pretty much giving credence to the "killing grandma" crap! good grief!

I think "Katie" was earnest, but uninformed and not used to doing research. These folks rely on talking points, no one to make the think. I think that host took pity on her, but he didn't let her off the hook. The thing that got me was that she only got interested in politics because of a single payor health system? 9-11, two wars, a recession, all cruised right by her..."I guess we're just used to wars"...DAMN IT those are our kids in those WARS, get a grip. How pitiful, how freakin' pitiful is that???

Joni...Travis County is the liberal oasis of Central Texas...I was pleased to hear San Antonio is too, tho...Obama carried Texas with better vote percentage than Guv Goodhair...Obama got 44 per cent of the vote, Perry 'won' the election with 33 % because of Friedman and Strayhorn. HA! Redistricing backfired on them as well, giving Doggett that dog leg down to the Valley has made the Valley blue as well. Two more voting cycles and we're a blue state, wanta bet? Hutchinson is a moderate Repub, she supports a woman's right to choose as well as working with the federal government instead of bashing it. She hates Perry with a passion!

Hear Ronnie Earle is looking at governor...but I think he should go for Attorney General and let Kirk Watson go for guv.

Don't worry much about that blog, her posts are always so long and boring, it's not like anyone reads them!

good news, Debby!

Yes, many good people in the world, when you see all the efforts to divide Americans, it's encouraging to know that there are those who still feel we're all in this together.
