Hey Ladies! I am a new Navy Mom! My son is in A school in Great Lakes. He is my one and only. He should get his orders this week. My stomach is in knots! We just moved here from Japan. We spent seven years there. I know he would like to go back, but I would like to keep him CONUS for now! ;) Anyway, glad I found some other Ga moms! We are in southern Ga (Brunswick).
Hi All - I'm in Johns Creek and would also enjoy a get together if it's a Saturday when I could attend. My son is an LSSN on the USS Russell in San Diego. This July will be his 1 yr anniversary as a sailor.
Hi, I just found this group! I live in Cobb County. My son has been stationed in Japan since February. He is a CS and really enjoying it over there. I would love to connect with other Navy Moms.
There is lots of wisdom here from these ladies. Someone has experienced what you are going through because every situation is different. I was very glad to find this group.
Looking forward to a get together. Maybe I can make this one.
Thank you for the words of wisdom Paces, it's been an awesome experience for my Sailor so far and that puts my heart somewhat at ease. It's so great to have this type of communication with other Mom's going through the same thing, it's comforting to know that if I have a question I know EXACTLY where to go for the answer and usually have it in split seconds :)
Katlanta, I'm all for the Georgia Navy Moms getting together, I'm in Gwinnett and will travel ;)
Welcome, mammabear1994. It has been a while since I have been here, but this is an awesome group of ladies that will give you support and encouragement as you begin this adventure with your son.
I am fairly new myself. My son has been in just over 2 years. We still have lots to learn as well.
