Hey Diane - I just looked and don't see where they are posted. Navy4Moms approves photos before they post and I suspect they are still going thru the approval process. Once that is done - I think you will see them on the front page.

Good morning ladies,
What a wonderful turnout we had for lunch, so many of our "old" faces and plenty of new ones as well. It was so nice catching up with everyone; we have become such a diverse group of Navy families.

We had families from the USS Lincoln, the USS Geo. Washington, The USS Boxer, the USS Chung Hoon, a pilot from the airwing of the USS Ronald Reagon, lots of MA families including some with sailors stationed in Spain, Bahrain and Guam. New Naval academy famiiles, a very recent PIR family and a boot camp family counting down the days until their PIR and our own Gold Star mom Florence. Lots of good sharing, lots of new friendships being formed.

It was a wonderful time for all and we look forward to seeing everyone at the next event!

It sounds like all of you had a great time today. I missed it on where you all were meeting today but probably could not have made it anyway...but would love to meet all of you. I live in Statham, GA. Well I did have good news... my grandson called me i believe Wed afternnon and he had just bought his ticket home from San Diego, CA. he will be getting in here on the 19th about 8;30 pm our time he said. He will have about 10 days home. i cannot wait... so maybe i can quit crying a few days here, but then i have my Coast Guard grandson so far away in Alameno CA. that is near San Francisco or oakland... he is so far from home too. And my grand-daughter in norfolk.. But she is going to ask for leave time to be here when my grandson gets here from San Diego. They are both in the Navy. my navy grandson will finish up his AA school a couple of days before his leave time. But will probably have to go back to San Diego for more school. He had told me he would probably be stationed there till nov 2011. my coast guard grandson was on his ship and they broke down and had to be towed back to base and they will be headed to San Diego and he will get to spend time with his cousin there... He will probably be transferred to San Diego at least for a few weeks or months.. in november he will bid to transfer....hopefully to a base closer to Georgia. We want them all closer.
