Hello Georgia N4Ms. I am new on this site and my son just went into bootcamp on May 25th and has a PIR of 7/23/10. Glad to see so many moms from Georgia!

We are so excited. I've already received flowers announcing it, ultra sound pictures (the cutest picture of 2 feet), and a picture of my daughter-in-laws belly with a pink bow and a tatoo saying "It's A Girl!" Our young kids are so creative!

Mary, Congratulations on Nick's deployment and your coming granddaughter. What a coincidence...we just heard our son is expecting their first baby and it's also a girl and he is currently out on a carrier doing his qualifications. When he passes he'll be shortly thereafter shipped out. The timing will probably have him away from home when the baby comes in October.

Ladies - Attended PIR for our son today. Wow - it's really hard to put into words the awesome feelings that come over you from the first moment you walk into the Hall, to the big door opening up, to the call of Liberty!

Welcome to our newest members, we certainly are growing. I think we need to plan a summer picnic!

PS...Did I tell you that my daughter is pg with our first grandchild? I went to the doctors with her this week and they told her the baby would be wearing...

Hi all, been short on time but
wanted to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day. We attended a wonderful service today at our National Cementary in Marietta. It brought tears to the eyes more than once.
