Coming down good in Mayrette!!

Gabby --- it's hard when you are waiting for news. I do remember at one point my son was due to leave for boot camp in February but got antsy and wanted to leave early and the recruiter told him they did not have any openings that he would have to wait ...I thought that was crazy! And hate to tell you but it was two years ago when the job market was much better.

I am planning to come and bring my hubby also. That is, if nothing else comes up as that is my birthday that day. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hi Mary! Sorry to not be able to be there. I love J. Alexanders (Perimeter). I don't see the Event listed so I could RSVP. I'll keep looking!

Diane - we will miss ya but know that we will catch you at another event.

I did go to the Events for March 6th and added myself to the RSVP. THe only thing I don't like about using the events is it doesn't allow you to give a head count. Meaning - it shows that I'm attending but it doesn't allow me to say I'm bringing hubby with me.

Does J. Christopher want you to give them a head count before the event sailordawgmom? If so, we may want to tighten it up a few days before hand. Generally my hubby does attend the lunches with us and last year we did an event in Savannah and my daughter joined us (she's 21) and she had said recently ...are the moms getting together again? I'd like to come - so I will share the date with her and see if she is in Atl that weekend. She is engaged to a solder now so she really sees the value of these gatherings.

Hey sailordawgmom ... thanks for the invite. I've been busy with my daughter moving back home with her family. Unfortunately, I'll have to miss this one as I'll be in Boston that week visiting our other daughter in college. Best to all!

I'll let a couple of local Navy moms know about the event as they are not on the site too often.

I will make March 6th work for me and look forward to meeting everyone. Sailordawgmom, you might want to set up an event and that way it is posted on the pages, it will allow members to rsvp and it offers all kinds of mapping options, etc. If you need any help - just holler.
