Hi Georgia Moms,

Been awhile since I have been over here, been on the Boot Camp Moms. My son left on Monday.  They changed his date so much, but he was so ready to go.  Everytime he went to the recruiter they would say, wanna leave sooner?  He of course would say YES and they would change the date...LOL  I can't believe he's gone already though, house sure is quiet.  I got the 10 second call and am looking forward to getting his address to start mailing his letters.  I just wanted to pop in and see if anyone else had anyone leave this week from GA.  Hope all is well with everyone.  Have a great day!

Good evening ladies. It's been a while since I've been on, so I had to go back and read many of the postings. To all who requested prayers, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I got an email from my son, and all but four (of 14) ships have pulled out from Japan and are resuming their original itinerary. He was happy about that since it means he's flying again. However, he did have concerns about the national budget issue and not getting paid. Not so much for him, but his little family at home. Like our sailors really need this stress. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon at the next luncheon!
