Went back to work today, finally. I never thought that I would actually be ready to go back to work, but after being stuck inside for days, I was thrilled!

My SR graduates from BC on Feb-11.

Oh KDB1 - I agree totally!  I'm over the snow and the ice now.  My poor dogs can't find a decent place to pee!

Do any of you have sailors graduating from Goose Creek on Feb 4th?

It's been an event that's for sure Mary!  The ice is everywhere and since the temps only reach freezing for a couple of hours, it doesn't have a chance to go anywhere.  We need some wind!  Tomorrow 40 degrees though!  Yay!  My firm is open at 10:00 a.m. today, but the daycare is closed.  This is when I miss my Sailor!  He was so good with his little sister!

Just heard Cobb County schools are closed again tomorrow...I have lived in GA for 20 years and never remember our schools being closed so many days for weather.

I can't believe ATL is still under weather conditions!

My hubby has been working from home all week too which I'm glad is an option in this weather.

I'm in NY and it is snowing like a beast here but they have the equipment and skills to deal with it.

No more fun indeed!  My husband works from home and he has run out of quiet places to talk on the phone!  I am a preschool teacher and I am ready to go back to 12 two year olds!  Too much together time over holidays and this week!

My 7 year old is fine...certainly glad it was only a couple and not 23!  oh my!

Hope we all make it out of the house and back to work and school by tomorrow!  Good luck all!  Stay safe and warm!

There is a point when snow days are no longer fun!  I think I'm at that point.  My firm is opening at 11:00 the last I heard, but has cautioned everyone that lives further out from Atlanta (I'm thirty miles) not to attempt coming in.  Besides I have a four year old and her preschool/daycare is closed again today.  My husband did go back to work finally.  I love him, but after being in the house for four days I was ready for a little time apart!  LOL - we've been married twenty-two years so I'm allowed, right!!

KDB1 - hope your son heals well.  A friend of my son's received 23 stitches last week across his forehead.  Ouch...

I have two sister's that live right outside of Chicago and they said the snow was coming down and it was COLD....  I'm so glad my son graduated from A School at the end of September!

Stay warm everyone!

Know what you mean Pam - The diet coke was running low....but I hit the jackpot when I went to empty a cooler in the garage from the past weekend and it had 6 diet cokes in there!  Wooo Hooo!  I can stay in my PJs one more day til I can make it to the store.  I started with the wine first so that was gone quick! :) LOL.  Had to take my son to get stitches in his head late this afternoon! It happened at a neighbors house and all is well.  The roads weren't too bad but I definitely wouldn't be on them if I didn't have to.
