Ladies: I have thoroughly enjoyed Atlanta Navy Week. The best part was sharing it with my husband Paul and many of you. I think the dinner went off very well. We had more than anticipated Navy officers show up, but that along with each of you is what made it so special. And the music! I cannot thank the US Navy Jazz players enough for the wonderful music. I saw some of you ladies, and missed others, at the Air Show. What fabulous weather! Paul and I were there all day working at an ice cream concession stand. I am still trying to recover from the aches and pains for standing so long and working without breaks. The crowd was overwhelming. But, that means more money to the Air Show and thus, more money to all the volunteers and their clubs which will profit from it. Paul and I worked for the Navy League of the US Atlanta Metro Coucil who will use the money for their NJROTC and Sea Cadets programs. So, as they say, "A fun time was had by all." While we'll have to wait two years for another Air Show, let's not wait that long before we get together for a local meet and greet.

Ok Moms- It has been a great week-The Navy week was a busy week but alot of fun. We made alot of new friends and we both learned new lessons about support:The caring and understanding we have for each other. We are a very close net family.I think the Navy sailors out of Ga. really had a great time being with us.The Air show with the Blue Angels really put the star on top.It really was an exciting time. To see a flying machine with so much horsepower.I have lots of pictures that I will start downloading on Monday. It will be pictures from the whole week that I attended. My youngest recorded a program on the Speed chanel it did a small section on The Blue Angels. I would highly recommand that if they have Navy week here again-that the moms and dads will attend the programs they have for you to attend. It was really an adventure of memories. We wish the best to our Navy Crew.Thank you for letting us hang out with ya'll.

Wow. Just got home from the air show at Dobbins AFB. The Blue Angels and the Snowbird were incredible. So grateful for the beautiful Georgia weather. It was wonderful!

We are planning on going to the air show at Dobbins AFB this weekend. Are any of the Georgia Navy Moms planning on meeting up?

If anyone is available Friday morning around 11:30 some are planning to meet for lunch and listen to the Navy Band play. I think we are planning to bring a sack lunch. Hope the day is going to be pretty.

Last night was wonderful. It was good to see all the Moms again. The guests were very entertaining and informative, too. We plan to go to the air show this weekend, too. Go Navy!
