Just google Escambia County clerk marriage licenses and the information is posted. If you aren't Fl. residents, there is no waiting period.
They will not tell him. They will expect him to figure it out by himself. I don't want this to come across rudely but if you are expecting the Navy to tell you anything about anything you need to do, you need to know they will not. They expect you and your sailor to be adults and figure it out by yourself. By that I mean even if its something he will HAVE to do or risk getting in trouble no one is going to spoon feed him. Least of all by telling him where to get married. Its easy to find out. Pcola is in Escambia county. google how to get married in Escambia county and the clerks website should pop up. Its fairly simple, get their by 4 pm and you can get married that day. There is a little booklet they ask people to read before getting married its just your basic what causes divorce, talking about money, kids, etc. type information that hopefully you guys have already gone over. Its like $130 or so when we got married. It might have changed. Make sure you have your important documents with you if you are staying long enough you can get enrolled in deers and Tricare figured out while you are there. He should be able to find out where to get IDs on base and they can direct you to the MTF there too and they will talk to you about Tricare in the Tricare office if they are open. If you have specific questions feel free to ask away I got married in Pcola, now is a great time to learn how to research and get this information it will be important to be able to obtain information because there will be many times your sailor will not get told. He will just be expected to know.
You are welcome. If you have specific questions about getting married down there about specifics let me know.
