For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sailor Wifey Boot Camp - Getting FIT for PIR!
So, I was sitting here today thinking about how my hubby is spending hours a day in Boot Camp doing PT and probably getting totally fit and toned! And then I realized that I need to do the same thing so I can look great when I see him in November!!
Any other Boot Camp wives/fiances/girlfriends (or really anyone, even if your sailor is out of RTC) want to start a group to encourage each other to get fit and exercise every day?? The thing they really stress in Boot Camp is team work, so I thought it would be good to have a team to attack this together and celebrate each others accomplishments!
Anybody in??

I think they've already started a group, I saw some comments about it a week or two ago! Go back through the comments on the main page. It's not too far back I'm sure you'll find it! Good luck! Working out helped me get trough boot camp for sure!

It's called Slim down while your sailor is away. I'm part of it! I did the same thing I sulked for a bit after he left the decided I needed to get in better shape since he was also. I'm down one size in two weeks!
