I'm a Navy Wife and I created this group back when I was a girlfriend and my now husband had gone to bootcamp. Its funny because i joined this website when they had under 50 members. This website has been sooooo helpful and I met so many people on here that gave great advice. I made this group so that we could all come together and give eachother advice and share ideas. I see that this group is growing more and more by the day, Im happy to see that because so many wives/fiances/and girlfriends are clueless when it comes the military lifestyle. Not knowing what to expect and not knowing about deployments, bootcamp, duty stations, etc. I want this to be the place you all recommend because so many people on this site are knowledgeable and very helpful. Once again thanks for joining my group and i hope you get all the information you need. I dont get to log on as much as i used to but i try my best to get on here. So if u have any questions feel free to make a discussion topic and Im positive that it will get answered if not, inbox me :-) Take Care ♥

ccswifey....i grew up catholic but drifted from the church for years. My husband left for haiti in jan and i started going to church right away. I prayed for strength as well and things around me started to calm down. I finally can say i believe in god again and found my faith

And CCsWifey... your story just brought tears to my eyes. Being a military wife/fiance/girlfriend is one of the most emotionally draining, yet proud positions to have. I will keeping an eye to see if you have any updates. I hope he really is doing better than "fine." He will stay stong, he's a Navy man =)

Hope everyone is doing well and staying strong!! My sailor just left yesterday to go back to his ship after getting to spend a week with him :( But the good new is is that we are finally married!!!

Thanks. It means a lot... ( not just saying that either ) From the bottom of my heart... Seeing people are praying, and especially for a new military wife, that has a very homesick SEAL candidate, means a ton to me! Hooyah :0)

NavyGirlfriend<3 That feels good knowing it's not happening to just me. Of course, I know this is not the first time anything like this has happened, but seeing my husband like that, worried the crap out of me.. He's such a strong strong person!

UPDATE --
So, the lady from Public Affairs just called me back and said that his RDC said he is "fine" now and hasn't said anything else about dropping. They said it could have been shock from the initial commotion, and new things. And said that he could write me starting this Sunday. I thanked that woman on the other end of the line with everything I had in heart. And you know what.. If I can be completely honest with everyone-and not offend any of you.. Me and my husband have never been what you would call "religious"( we believe in God, just to clarify that ) and it wasn't until he left for BC that I started praying. I've never prayed so hard in all my life, I guess you could say that I just put everything in God's hand.. Thats what everyone has always said.. And I'm sticking to those words.. In my last letter to my husband, I said, you know, I know it sounds weird coming from me, of all people, but just pray to God for strength and the will to push on.. .. I'm still awaiting a letter with a response. I told him I've done it everynight since he's left, and I feel at ease with things. I really want to thank each and everyone of you that have been there to offer encouraging words, and prayers.. And like I said, keep praying. I, as well as my family need it. Thank you so so so much.

CCsWife- My boyfriend did the same when I talked to him. he said being away from was horrible. I had pancreatic cancer this year and had surgery and in recovery. He's worried something is going to happen to me and he won't be here. I just talk him through everything and let him know Im okay and how much I love him. He said their chiefs are giving him hell and telling him that I am not going to be here waiting on him. Just reassure him, thats what I did. Good luck with everything and just stay positive. I hope everything works out:)

Courty- I hope he is o.k. I called the public affairs office and told them what was going on, and shes going to check in for me and told me to call her back in an hour and a half. I hope I just get an answer and not a run around. I'm so worried, I can't sleep or eat. I was 106lbs when he left, and I've dropped to 95 just from not being able to eat. I can't handle this, and especially with the new situation.. I wish there were more communication!!

CCsWifey, hang in there! Hopefully this was just a temporary glitch and things will come around to work out. I'm sure the RDCs are giving him hell about being married. I'm sure they are doing it to my husband too. He sounded so relieved when I was happy to hear his voice the other day... I'm sure the mind games they play are starting to take a toll on them and with you have a child it may be hitting him harder than the guys who don't. You said he is going in as a SEAL? I'm sure that alone is sooo very hard on him then with RDCs always saying "your wife is cheating on you. she's f*cking john smith right now. blah blah blah" it is probably ever harder. I think he will be ecstatic when he gets your letter though and once he calms down and puts his thoughts back in order, I'm sure he'll make the best decision for you and your family, no matter what that decision is. I really do feel for you. It has to be hell to get a call like that then not know anything that happens afterwards. Stay strong hun!! We're here to help you through this!

Courty. I did, I sent him a 10 page letter this morning. Telling him everything you just described. My heart literally aches for him right now. I just want to know how he is doing. I hope it was just a break down. I think I'm worse now than I was when he first left for BC. This is his dream, I'm completely shocked. I told him in my letter, and well, for that fact, every letter I've written him that he's been the best thing to happen to me, and I would never throw away the last 8 years of my life. I told him just how much he means to me, and that this is almost over.. But if he wanted out, I'm 100% supportive of his decision. I just wish they would let him to call me to let me know what's going on. I hate not knowing, but I'm sure I'm not the first that this has happened to. My heart goes out to him... I can't imagine what he's going through. And that's what I was thinking. it;s his RDC's that giving the married men hell, saying crap about their wives leaving, and I guess it did get to him... I would give anything in this world to talk to him right now.. I'm so confused
