While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Yea we turned ours in like tuesday of last week and we were told that if we did the move on Wednesday that we could get the money by Tuesday at the latest of this week. So when I can to check the status of it i keep getting "you have to talk to the PSD" which I cant really do that since im not my husband. and we got the paper that says how much we are getting but its the advance that i would like to have and to move our stuff since its supposed to be moved on wednesday and now I am not sure how to pay for it. And do you have any information on the relief society?

Rikki- They also offered to advance the travel portion of the allotments, but we just didn't need it that soon.

Rikki- We did ours at the end of October. It took like 9 days, I think. However, there was an issue with the computers at the time, so it was taking longer than usual. Customer service was able to get me a piece of paper from (I think) the Travel Office that had the amounts we were supposed to be receiving and sent us to the Navy-Marine Corp Relief Society and they gave us a no interest loan for the HHG part of the PPM so that we were able to pay for and pick up our moving truck. They money went through the following week and we just called them with our banking info and they took the money back. Just wanted to make sure you knew you had that option. That was a really stressful time.

My husbands PIR is 11/27 he is AV and still haen't received his orders yet. He's being told most likely 21w Aschool in pensecola and we will get a move, but from everything I've read 21w is too short for a move correct?
If that's the case I'd love to have him home for Christmas, but don't want it to look bad him being in the hole. If its no biggy how do we get the ball rolling? Just have him out the request in as soon as he arrives?
Suggestions? 21weeks is a long time when we have 2 young kids. Us flying there to visit will be hard since we are west coast.

My best friend and partner Drake, has been in BC since Nov. 4th and his Graduation is on Jan. 3rd. In the least I'm excited and determined for him and myself, I strongly believe in his will and I'm proud of the actions he has taken to better himself. He is my # 1 Man and I will be receiving his first letter to me today and I am thrilled to hear from him !

So I looked at my husbands pay and at the bottom of it it says Change BAH does that mean that we should be receiving BAH next pay?
