Hi, I'm a grandmother & my grandson is my pride & joy. He has always been there for me since his grandfather passed away last year. He told me "papa was my best friend" and I will make him proud of me.

Thank you for adding me!! My Grandson just graduated Nov 22 I have not seen him yet and only talked very briefly to him once but am so excited to see the changes I believe this is going to bring him. A sense of purpose for one. I am wondering what I can get him for Christmas. He will be home for Christmas and I want to give him something that means something and is allowed He is still in Great Lakes and has yet to start his school. He said he loves it.

To GMA of a SR, my Grandson graduated from basic training on the 22nd of November. I have already seen a big difference in him. This was the first Thanksgiving away from home and the first Christmas. We miss him around here terribly but am so proud of him at the same time. I am so thankful for finding this site and to the new members, know you are not alone in this adventure!

Has anyone heard from their recruit from Ship 11, Division 041 as to whether they have completed BS and have received their Navy cap?  I'm not sure how these things work and my grandson's stepmother and father are not including my daughter (who lives with me) in any new information. Thank you!
