My husband is graduating March 5th. He will be in Groton for school. His recruiter told us I could move out right away but after reading this I really have to wait 8 more weeks to move out there with him? His job will be SECF

I am wondering does anyone know the "protocol" on families moving for A school. By the looks of things he is looking at 40+ weeks of schooling. We have a two year old son and this 10 weeks of BC has been really tough for him. I can not imagine all that time for school. Thank you!

Hi my son is in BC now, his PIR is March 5th.I was wondering if they have access to computer at Groton. I would like to see him, maybe on SKYPE. He does not have a Laptop.

wow! Thanks Sub School Crief for all of that info. Someone had said he would have somewhere around 42 weeks of school, guess they werent kidding. I was also told that he would be in school for about 3 years of his enlisted 8 years. My son was not much of a studier in high school, so as a parent, I worry, but he is very smart and has a 5.0 score at bc so far. I sure hope he is developing better study habits in bc.

Hi my son graduates from bootcamp march 5th. He leaves the next day for Groton. We were going to see him off at the airport. Can you give him his cell phone there? Or do you half to wait and mail it?
