I am getting really excited about having my son home for Christmas!  He finished BESS on the 2nd and has started on the TCNO (I think that is what it is called) stuff.  He flies home on the 18th for 2 weeks.  I checked the extended forecast and so far the weather does not look too bad for this week-end so hopefully the flights will be running on time and he will be able to make his connecting flight.

Is like RTC they have guys coming everyweek. Actually they have guys coming in all the time.. SOme of the guys that can't make it in NUKE school get sent here..So there are always rooms.BESS is kind of an extension of boot camp.

Guys coming from Boot will have a place to stay.. Everytime a class graduates they have to move out of their barracks.. SO ppl graduating BESS today have to move out of their barracks to a new one to make room for the new guys coming in..

Thanks you guys, guess we'll wait and see.  He only has 5 days so he'd be going in the hole to take it all, don't think he wants to do that, and know they frown on it.  But he will have a place to stay though, right...I mean I guess that's a silly question but the barracks are open...right?  Thank you!  I will be back here a lot in the weeks to come, I'm sure.  Off to PIR right now, driving to Chicago.  Safe travels to all of you traveling.
