Graduation today was wonderful!  The boys had to recite their name, rank, & where they are from.  Also they had to remember where they were going with the number!  It was fun!  The speeches were inspiring as well!  I'm so proud of my son!  I'm proud of all the boys!  They worked very hard!

My son is going to Virginia on the USS Minnesota too!  I'm happy for the East Coast!  Its 10 hrs away which is better than Georgia!

Thanks!  I'm happy for him and at the same time it hit me that now things can be a little different.  That scare me.....

lynnvikings.....yes that is correct.  For me a big mess but here it is.  He is been assigned to the USS Minnesota.  He is going to Virginia from there he will get deployed in another boat and once the USS Minnesota is ready he will be in it.  THEN of course the USS Minnesota don't have a port yet, SOOOO let see where he ends.  Hopefully stay on the EAST coast.

We were out at the museum walking around and ran into my ex-husband.  OMG, my heart sank and I froze with disbelief.  Then since he likes to set me off, he looks at me and says, "Hi shipmate!"  Apparently my son invited him but I have no idea what's up with this situation.  It goes beyond just disliking this man, he has done some bad things.  I can only hope that he stays away from my husband and I and my son's GF.  Way too creepy for me...I will just bite the bullet for a while.

Hi Moms,

Do you know if the walk was recorded? My son said they were taping it but have not been able to locate it. I was hoping someone knows so I can watch it.

HI ProudMama, my son graduates BESS on October 7th also.    We made it to the Bootcamp grad and the A school grad but will not be able to make it to this one.   Hopefully his grandparents will be able to attend instead of us.

He is still wating for orders as to where he goes next - hopefully he can stay in Groton.   He (and all of us) love the CT shoreline.
